A supportive improv workshop for introverts, overthinkers, and thoughtful creatives who want to build confidence and express their point of view. This workshop is designed for people who often feel shy, quiet, or stuck in their head. Through gentle improv exercises, we’ll explore how to express a clear point of view, trust our instincts, and build confidence in a supportive environment.
Instructor Bio:
Christine is a New York City-based improviser, teacher, actor, writer, and comedic content creator with over 10 years of multidisciplinary experience working with brands and executive teams in the insurance industry, nonprofit industry and theater industry, Christine provides support that aligns with the company, client, and consumer needs. As an improv instructor of accredited NYC improvisation theaters, Christine has taught improv workshops for children and adults for over a decade at The Peoples Improv Theater, Asylum Theater, and has led corporate improv workshops for organizations such as The Duke University Fuqua School of Business, Columbia Business School, Prudential, Blue Core, Felicity House, Serhant, and the Diversity Alliance for Science. She has performed at The Upright Citizens Brigade, The Brooklyn Comedy Collective, Asylum Theater, The Magnet Theater, and The Peoples Improv Theater. You can see Christine perform characters and improv comedy with her house team, The Baldwins at The Peoples Improv Theater and sketch comedy every month with her Maude Team, Baby Todd at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City. Christine has also trained with Terry Knickerbocker at Terry Knickerbocker Acting Studios and can be heard on the Sounds Funny Radio Comedy Podcast, produced by Marc Evan Jackson, Nate DuFort, and James Quesada.
