Using improv games we’ll work on the basics of scene work and have a bunch of fun. This workshops great for folks who are just starting out, folks who have been doing it for years, and everything in between. It’s never a pain to return to the basics as long as it’s all fun and games.
Instructor Bio:
Jake Keefe hails from a tiny little town in New Hampshire where he spent his youth among the trees and the fresh air. He’s traveled America studying improv and teaching comedy everywhere from Hawaii to New York. He’s currently the head of improv at American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and teaches improv at Atlantic Acting School and NYU Jake can be seen on the hit show Elsbeth on CBS, was part of the original off-Broadway cast of “Puffs,” and plays Chris Kennedy in the hit show American Love Story. He’s been doing improv and sketch comedy for over twenty years including performing at The Pit, Second City and UCB. He also wants you to know that he loves dogs and Ben and Jerry’s Chubby Hubby ice cream.
