About the event
Hey. I am Peter Wong, the guy on the poster. I am from Queens, NYC and I am a comedian. I've been doing stand up comedy for a while. Some of my work has been on TV. I've been on Tosh.0 on Comedy Central. I think that's pretty cool.
This is my first hour of stand up comedy that I am doing in my hometown. I've worked hard on this and it will be very funny. Also I'm Asian. That's a race you don't often see in this business. Usually you see white, then black, then latino, then indian, then lost tribes in remote Amazon places, then asian. So you will probably be surprised. It may surprise you that this is all in English.
I say all that because maybe that matters to you that I'm of a certain ethnicity. Maybe that makes you not want to see this. Maybe that makes you really want to see this. I don't think about it often. Some of my material will be about my race. Some of it will be about other races. Some of it will be about love. Some of it will be about things that come out of my body. I don't know how you feel about all that.
I do know that the show is in a beautiful venue with cheap drinks. And we will have a really good time. I promise.
